Easter Festival Service

What is this?

The Easter Festival Service is a time when together we celebrate the power of the arisen Sun, the triumph of love, in the human heart. White Eagle’s teaching is rich in accounts of the resurrection, and even though we are looking to the future we join him in envisioning this crowning glory of life. He stands by our side as we do so.

And so the purpose of the service, which has been held annually ever since the beginning of the Lodge’s work, is to feel afresh in our hearts the power and beauty of the Light over all the arguments of the lower mind.

We will sing hymns, and the choir will sing a specially composed anthem (by Jenny Bateman) telling the story of the discovery of the empty tomb. We hope all who come will be able to enter imaginatively into this great mystery.

Teas and coffees will be served before and after the service. We look forward so much to welcoming you.

Who is this for?

This service will appeal to anyone who enjoys a spiritual service at Easter during springtime.

Do I need to book?

There is no booking requirement for any of our Sunday services.
