Open Day surprises with larger than expected crowds (to everyone's delight!)
An open day turned in to a busy day for everyone at New Lands when visitors arrived to see the new temple, walk the grounds and listen to a diverse selection of talks.
On Sunday 30 October, New Lands hosted an open day to greet and entertain new visitors, returning members and others, while offering insight in to what happens at White Eagle Lodge.
It felt like a return to normality for many, after a couple of exceptionally challenging years, with smiles and delightfully intriguing looks on many faces.
A talk on the new temple design from James Gorst Architects started the day, with talks on Earth healing, the stars and planets and meditation following close behind. As well as vegetarian pies, cakes and drinks on sale, the day was rounded off with a wonderful walk exploring the Chakra path and gardens.
A huge thank you must go to our volunteers and staff for the hard work they put in to make the day such a success. Well done everyone!
