Remembering
A post from StarNotes by Jenny Dent
Remembrance is a time to not only give thanks for the thousands of people who have given their lives in service to their country, but also all those who dedicate their efforts to helping others. There is so much to be thankful for in our world today as the energy of Aquarius manifests more strongly - so much time and so many skills are being offered now to help heal our beautiful planet.
In my morning prayers at Remembrance time, I list all the positive things to be thankful for in our world today, and the gifts of loving care and kindness so freely given. Wonderful things are happening, and the more we note them, instead of being cast down by the negative news, the more we work to uplift the dark 'thought clouds' and allow the rays of sunshine to break through.
This is a time of year when the 'veil between heaven and earth' seems to get much thinner and as we lead up to Advent, it becomes a little easier to feel the presence of angels. White Eagle has given us much reassuring teaching about the help angels bring into our personal lives and their care for our beautiful planet. When we're worried about anything - personal, or in world affairs - remember the power, wisdom and loving presence of angels, and the help we can receive from wise friends in heaven!
Angels are closer and more a part of our lives than most of us realise. They are always present, White Eagle tells us, at the time of birth and death. In White Eagle's Little Book of Comfort for the Bereaved, he explains:
'When death draws near, angels always gather in the home and at the bedside of the one about to depart....when a soul receives the call from earth to heaven, loving preparation is made in the spirit world for the reception of that soul. If only people could have their vision clear enough to see that welcome being made ready, they would never be sad at death. They would be as happy as when a child is born into life down here, indeed more happy.'
White EagleAnd what about those who die suddenly, or in war? White Eagle explains:
'When it happens that people who have no knowledge of the spirit life are suddenly flung out of physical life, we want you do know they are instantly taken care of. When they leave their physical body they do not know what has happened to them. But they walk out and find someone, a friend, waiting for them. The masses concentrate on the sordid aspects, but to the soul pressing forward, death is glorious.
Those who have left the earth through being sacrificed in a war find a particular comfort and happiness in our world. Sacrifice of the individual, self sacrifice, brings great blessing to the soul.'
